PI Apparel LA 2020

Day 1: 25 February 2020

Join Roz McNulty as she demonstrates a virtual changing room beta. An app where you could do a ‘virtual try-on.’ Plus a 3D scan of your face you can have sent to you. Virtual change rooms and try on simulations will positively impact in-house resource efficiencies and our understanding of consumer retail behaviours both online and in-store.

Day 2: 26 February 2020 3:15 pm
Focus Group at  PI Apparel LA.'Realistic Avatars and Dressing Rooms of the Future; the Likeness Threshold'
https://events.pi.tv/2020/apparel_la/agenda

“When the character gets realistic enough, both for the face features and the hair, and your avatar can clearly be recognized from any angle by any of your family members, then the reaction shifts. You go from people saying, “Haha, that’s funny.” To shouting, “WOW! That’s me here!”. This is the likeness threshold.”
